Hyalopterous Lemure, Creature — spirit, designed by Richard Thomas first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card could benefit a black-based control or midrange deck looking to have a versatile threat that can both attack and block effectively. While Hyalopterous Lemure's ability to gain flying can be situationally useful, there are likely better options available in terms of efficiency and power level for a 5-mana investment, such as Desecration Demon or Abyssal Persecutor, which offer more impactful abilities or stats for their cost. Overall, unless there is a specific strategy or synergy that makes use of its abilities, Hyalopterous Lemure may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
