Hindering Touch, Instant, designed by Glen Angus first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge.
A control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's game plan would benefit from using Hindering Touch, especially in a meta where there are many low-cost spells being played. While Hindering Touch can be effective in certain situations, more commonly played cards like Mana Leak or Force of Will might offer more versatility and efficiency in countering spells. However, Hindering Touch could still see play in specific metagames or sideboard situations where its Storm ability can provide a significant advantage.

A copy of a spell can be countered like any other spell, but it must be countered individually. Countering a spell with storm won’t affect the copies.
06/07/13
The copies are put directly onto the stack. They aren’t cast and won’t be counted by other spells with storm cast later in the turn.

You may choose new targets for any of the copies. You can choose differently for each copy.
