This card, Fists of Ironwood, would be beneficial in a green token or creature-based deck that focuses on generating a wide board presence. It provides immediate value by creating two Saproling tokens and granting trample to the enchanted creature. While there may be more powerful options available in terms of auras and token generators, Fists of Ironwood can still be a solid inclusion in decks looking to go wide and overwhelm opponents with creature tokens.

If the target creature is an illegal target when Fists of Ironwood tries to resolve, Fists of Ironwood won’t resolve and won’t enter the battlefield. You won’t create Saproling tokens.
