Era of Innovation, Enchantment, designed by Jason Rainville first released in Sep, 2016 in the set Kaladesh and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Era of Innovation would be beneficial in an artifact-heavy or Artificer-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a steady source of energy counters and card draw potential. However, there are potentially better cards for similar effects, such as Aetherworks Marvel or Thopter Spy Network, which offer more powerful and immediate benefits for the same or similar costs, making Era of Innovation less likely to see competitive play in most decks.

is the energy symbol. It represents one energy counter.

Energy counters aren’t mana. They don’t go away as steps, phases, and turns end, and effects that add mana “of any type” to your mana pool can’t give you energy counters.

Keep careful track of how many energy counters each player has. You may do so by keeping a running count on paper, by using a die, or by any other clear and mutually agreeable method.

If a creature that is both an artifact and an Artificer enters the battlefield under your control, Era of Innovation’s triggered ability triggers only once.
