About Deliver Unto Evil

Deliver Unto Evil, Sorcery, designed by Seb McKinnon first released in May, 2019 in the set War of the Spark Promos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and control, particularly one that includes Bolas planeswalkers, would benefit from using Deliver Unto Evil in Magic: the Gathering. While Deliver Unto Evil has its niche uses, there are potentially better options like Liliana, Death's Majesty or Seasons Past for more reliable graveyard recursion, making Deliver Unto Evil a situational card that may not see widespread play in competitive decks.

Rules

05/03/19

Whether you control a Bolas planeswalker is checked only as this spell resolves.

05/03/19

You choose one opponent to make the final choice of which cards remains in your graveyard, but all players may discuss and advise this choice.

05/03/19

You may cast Deliver Unto Evil with fewer than four targets. However, if you don’t control a Bolas planeswalker as Deliver Unto Evil resolves, your opponent will choose two of however many cards you did target (or one or zero, if you chose fewer than two) and the remainder (if any) will be put into your hand.
