Compulsory Rest could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on stalling the opponent's creatures and gaining life to prolong the game. However, there are better options like Pacifism or Oblivion Ring that offer more permanent removal or utility. Compulsory Rest may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other similar cards.
