This card could be useful in a deck focused on land destruction or disruption, where the goal is to disrupt your opponent's mana base and slow down their game plan. However, there are better options available, such as Sinkhole or Icequake, which offer more immediate and versatile land destruction effects. Blight could see play in specific metagames where land destruction is particularly effective, but in general, it may not be the most optimal choice for most decks.
