Blanket of Night, Enchantment, designed by Cliff Nielsen first released in May, 2020 in the set Visions.
This card, Blanket of Night, would benefit a mono-black deck that aims to take advantage of the Swamp type for various synergies such as triggering landfall abilities or benefiting from cards that care about Swamps. However, there are better alternatives like Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, which turns all lands into Swamps without the need for additional mana to be spent. Whether Blanket of Night should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, as it may have niche applications in certain scenarios.

The land can now be tapped for black mana in addition to any other abilities it already has. This works just as if the text “: Add ” was added to each mana-producing land. In other words, the land can be tapped for its own ability _or_ it can be tapped for black mana. Not both.
