About Archfiend of Sorrows

Archfiend of Sorrows, Creature — demon, designed by David Rapoza first released in May, 2021 in the set Modern Horizons 2 and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

This card, Archfiend of Sorrows, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting your opponent's board state while also providing a strong flying threat. Its ability to weaken your opponent's creatures upon entering the battlefield can be a powerful tempo swing, especially against creature-heavy decks. The Unearth ability also provides additional value by allowing you to bring it back from the graveyard for a surprise attack. While there may be other cards with similar effects, the combination of flying, creature debuff, and recursion makes Archfiend of Sorrows a strong contender for inclusion in the right deck.
