About Angel of Mercy

Angel of Mercy, Creature — angel, designed by Melissa A. Benson first released in May, 2020 in the set Portal Second Age and was printed exactly in 19 different ways.

The Angel of Mercy card would be beneficial in a white control or lifegain deck, providing a flying blocker and a life gain effect upon entering the battlefield. While there may be stronger angel creatures with more powerful abilities in Magic: the Gathering, such as Baneslayer Angel or Lyra Dawnbringer, Angel of Mercy can still be a solid inclusion in decks focused on gaining life or maintaining board presence. Its cost and effect make it a decent choice for newer players or budget decks, but more competitive decks may opt for more impactful angel creatures.
