About Weight of Conscience

Weight of Conscience, Enchantment — aura, designed by Heather Hudson first released in Feb, 2008 in the set Morningtide and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card, Weight of Conscience, would be beneficial in a tribal-themed deck that focuses on creature types, such as Elves, Goblins, or Merfolk, where tapping two untapped creatures of the same type is easier to achieve. While it offers a unique removal option for such decks, there may be better alternatives like Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares that provide more efficient removal at a similar cost, making Weight of Conscience less likely to see play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.

Rules

Since the activated ability doesn’t have a tap symbol in its cost, you can tap creatures that haven’t been under your control since your most recent turn began to pay the cost.
