About Undercity Shade

Undercity Shade, Creature — shade, designed by Dana Knutson first released in Oct, 2005 in the set Ravnica: City of Guilds.

Undercity Shade would be a good fit for a black aggro deck looking to apply pressure early on with evasive threats. While it can be a solid inclusion for its ability to grow in power and evade certain blockers, there are potentially better options like Vampire Nighthawk or Gifted Aetherborn that offer additional abilities such as lifelink or deathtouch for a similar mana cost. Ultimately, the decision to include Undercity Shade would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, but it could see play in the right aggressive black deck.
