Thundermare, Creature — elemental horse, designed by Bob Eggleton first released in May, 1997 in the set Portal and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Thundermare would be a great addition to an aggressive red deck looking to apply early pressure and disrupt the opponent's board state. While Thundermare's ability to tap all other creatures can be powerful in certain situations, its high mana cost of 5R may limit its effectiveness in faster-paced games. Other cards like Stormbreath Dragon or Thundermaw Hellkite might be better options for similar effects with more versatility and impact, but Thundermare could still see play in specific deck archetypes that can take advantage of its abilities effectively.
