Standing Troops could be a solid inclusion in a White Weenie or Aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, benefiting from its low cost and Vigilance ability to apply consistent pressure on the opponent. However, there are likely better options available, such as Elite Vanguard or Soldier of the Pantheon, which offer more aggressive stats or additional utility. Ultimately, Standing Troops may not see much play in competitive decks due to its relatively average power level compared to other options.
