Righteous Fury, Sorcery, designed by Edward P. Beard, Jr. first released in May, 2020 in the set Portal Second Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A control deck that focuses on tapping down opponent's creatures would benefit from using Righteous Fury, as it can serve as a board wipe while also gaining you life. However, a card like Wrath of God or Day of Judgment may be better options for a more efficient board wipe effect, unless your deck specifically benefits from gaining life. Righteous Fury could see play in certain niche decks that have synergies with gaining life or tapping down creatures, but in general, there are more versatile and powerful options available.
