This card would be a great addition to a control deck that focuses on casting a variety of low-cost spells to generate value and create a board presence with flying Spirit tokens. While Obscura Ascendancy offers a unique and potentially powerful effect, it may not be as efficient as other options like \[\[Divine Visitation\]\], which provides a more immediate and impactful boost to creature tokens. However, if the deck is built around synergies with soul counters and Spirits, Obscura Ascendancy could definitely see play as a fun and flavorful inclusion.
