Mana Skimmer, Creature — leech, designed by Daniel Gelon first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral.
Mana Skimmer would be a valuable addition to a control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it can disrupt the opponent's mana base and slow down their game plan. However, there are better options available, such as Vendilion Clique, which not only disrupts the opponent's hand but also has flying and flash. While Mana Skimmer may have niche applications, it is generally outclassed by more versatile and impactful cards in the format and may not see much play in competitive decks.
