About Legacy's Allure

Legacy's Allure, Enchantment, designed by Daren Bader first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Tempest and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

Legacy's Allure would be a valuable addition to a control deck focused on stalling the game and gradually gaining control of the opponent's creatures. While it has potential in a deck with ways to consistently generate treasure counters, it may be outshined by other control cards like Control Magic or Treachery, which offer immediate creature control without the need for buildup. Ultimately, its effectiveness would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, making it a situational inclusion that may not see widespread play in competitive settings.

Rules

10/04/04

The “power less than or equal to the number of treasure counters on this card” restriction is a targeting restriction and will be checked on resolution in addition to on announcement. If the creature’s power changes to be greater than this before the effect resolves, then the Legacy’s Allure triggered ability doesn’t resolve, but the card stays in the graveyard.
