Kinscaer Harpoonist fits well in a blue-based flying or tempo deck that aims to control the board while applying pressure with evasive creatures. Its ability to negate an opponent's flying creature when it attacks can be particularly useful against decks that rely on flying threats, allowing your ground creatures to swing in unopposed. While there are stronger options in the same mana cost range, such as Stormwing Entity or Aven Wind Guide, which offer more immediate value or synergy, Kinscaer Harpoonist can still see play in specific metas where flying creatures are prevalent, making it a situational but potentially effective choice.
