This card would be beneficial in a deck focused on non-Human creature tribal synergies, such as Elves or Goblins, where you can consistently trigger its ability to draw cards. While Keeper of Fables can be a valuable card draw engine in such decks, there may be better options like Beast Whisperer or Guardian Project that provide similar card advantage without the restriction of only triggering off non-Human creatures. Because creatures with first strike deal combat damage before creatures without first strike, Keeper of Fables’s ability can trigger twice during one combat if your creatures deal combat damage to one player at different times.
