Hot Soup, Artifact — equipment, designed by David Palumbo first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic 2015 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would benefit aggressive decks looking to push through damage quickly, as the ability to make a creature unblockable can be very powerful in closing out games. However, the downside of destroying the equipped creature when it takes damage may limit its effectiveness in certain situations. There are better cards with similar effects, such as Swiftfoot Boots or Whispersilk Cloak, which provide protection without the drawback of destruction. Overall, Hot Soup may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its downside and the availability of better alternatives.
