A deck that focuses on landfall triggers and mill strategies would benefit from including Hedron Crab, as it provides a consistent source of milling for the opponent. While Hedron Crab is a solid card for mill decks, there are more powerful options available such as Glimpse the Unthinkable or Archive Trap, which can mill larger quantities of cards at once. However, Hedron Crab can still be a valuable inclusion in mill decks due to its low mana cost and consistent milling effect.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
