Gluttonous Cyclops, Creature — cyclops, designed by Steve Prescott first released in May, 2014 in the set Journey into Nyx.
This card could benefit a red aggro deck looking to quickly pump up a creature and apply pressure on the opponent. However, there are better options available such as Thundermaw Hellkite, which has a more immediate impact on the board with its ability to tap down potential blockers. Gluttonous Cyclops may struggle to see play in competitive decks due to its high cost and slow activation, but could still be a fun addition to casual or themed decks for players looking to experiment with different strategies.

An ability that triggers when a creature becomes monstrous won’t trigger if that creature isn’t on the battlefield when its monstrosity ability resolves.

Once a creature becomes monstrous, it can’t become monstrous again. If the creature is already monstrous when the monstrosity ability resolves, nothing happens.
