Defend the Campus would be a great addition to a white aggro deck looking to boost its creatures and remove larger threats. However, for a more efficient removal option, cards like Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile may be better choices. Defend the Campus could see play in certain metagames where the flexibility of its effects is valuable, but it may not be a staple in every white deck.
