This card, Counsel of the Soratami, would greatly benefit a control deck in Magic: The Gathering, as drawing two cards can provide card advantage and help maintain resources for controlling the game. While it has its uses, there are indeed better cards for card draw in blue, such as Ancestral Recall or Jace, the Mind Sculptor, which offer more powerful effects for a similar cost. However, in certain limited formats or budget decks, Counsel of the Soratami could still see play as a solid card draw option.
