Consume Strength, Instant, designed by Adam Rex first released in May, 2020 in the set Apocalypse and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on creature removal and combat tricks, such as a Golgari midrange or control deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from using Consume Strength. While it provides a temporary boost to one creature and weakens another, there are more efficient cards like Abrupt Decay or Assassin's Trophy that offer versatile removal without the restriction of targeting two creatures. Consume Strength could see play in budget decks or casual play, but in competitive settings, there are better options available.
