This card, Cloud Cover, would benefit a control-style deck looking to stall out the game and prevent damage. While it could be useful in certain situations, there are better options available such as Counterspell which can outright stop the damage from occurring instead of just reducing it. Cloud Cover may not see much play compared to more efficient and powerful cards in competitive decks.
