Impetuous Devils could be a valuable addition to an aggressive red deck looking to apply pressure early in the game. Its trample and haste abilities make it a threat that must be dealt with quickly by the opponent, potentially forcing them to block with a valuable creature. However, there are other cards in Magic: the Gathering that offer similar effects with potentially better value, such as Hellrider or Thundermaw Hellkite, which provide additional benefits or more immediate impact. If a creature affected by the first triggered ability of Impetuous Devils is tapped or is affected by a spell or ability that says it can’t block, then it doesn’t block. If there’s a cost associated with having that creature block, its controller isn’t forced to pay that cost, so it doesn’t have to block in that case either.
