About Wall of Fire

Wall of Fire, Creature — wall, designed by Richard Thomas first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 23 different ways.

A deck that focuses on control and defense would benefit from using Wall of Fire, as it provides a solid wall to protect against attacks. However, there are better options available such as Wall of Omens which draws a card upon entering the battlefield, or Wall of Blossoms which replaces itself with a card draw. Wall of Fire may not see as much play in competitive decks due to its limited utility compared to other wall creatures.
