Spurnmage Advocate, Creature — human nomad, designed by Ron Spears first released in May, 2020 in the set Judgment and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A control deck focused on disrupting the opponent's graveyard and dealing with attacking creatures would benefit from including Spurnmage Advocate in its strategy. While the card offers versatile utility, there are more efficient options available, such as Snapcaster Mage for graveyard recursion and Path to Exile for creature removal. Spurnmage Advocate may not be a top-tier choice but could find a niche in certain metagames or casual playgroups.

The ability is not countered if both cards are missing from the graveyard on resolution and the creature target is there. This makes it possible to have two Spurnmage Advocates both target the same two cards and end up destroying two creatures.
