Spinal Embrace would be a valuable addition to a control deck focused on disrupting your opponent's combat strategy by stealing their key creatures. While it has a high mana cost, its ability to untap and gain control of a creature can swing the game in your favor. However, a similar card, Control Magic, may be more efficient as it doesn't require waiting until combat to cast and doesn't have the drawback of sacrificing the stolen creature. Overall, Spinal Embrace could see play in decks looking for a unique and powerful control option, but may not be the most optimal choice compared to other similar cards.
