Soul Snuffers, Creature — elemental shaman, designed by Izzy first released in Jul, 2008 in the set Eventide and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck focused on -1/-1 counters and creature removal would benefit from including Soul Snuffers, as it can quickly weaken multiple opposing creatures upon entering the battlefield. However, for more efficient and powerful options, cards like Plague Belcher or Black Sun's Zenith may be better choices depending on the specific strategy of the deck. Soul Snuffers could see play in a deck looking to disrupt the opponent's board presence, but its effectiveness would depend on the overall synergy and game plan of the deck.
