This card would be beneficial in a midrange or ramp deck that focuses on generating value through creature tokens and graveyard recursion. While Shadowbeast Sighting offers a decent 4/4 creature token for its cost, there are potentially better options like Greenwarden of Murasa, which provides a stronger body and recursion effect for a slightly higher cost. However, Shadowbeast Sighting could still see play in decks looking to go wide with creature tokens and have the flexibility of casting it from the graveyard with its flashback ability.
