Selfless Exorcist, Creature — human cleric, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in May, 2002 in the set Judgment.
A deck focused on graveyard recursion or reanimation strategies, such as a white-black Orzhov or white-blue Azorius control deck, would benefit from including Selfless Exorcist. However, there are better options like Remorseful Cleric, which exiles all graveyards when sacrificed, or Containment Priest, which prevents creatures from entering the battlefield from graveyards. While Selfless Exorcist has potential in certain matchups, its vulnerability to damage limits its overall effectiveness and may not see consistent play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
