A deck that aims to combo off quickly or has a specific win condition that it needs to find in order to win would benefit from using Scheming Symmetry, as it allows the player to tutor for a key card. However, the downside of giving the opponent the ability to tutor as well can be risky, especially in a competitive setting. Cards like Demonic Tutor or Vampiric Tutor are generally better options for tutoring without giving the opponent the same advantage, so Scheming Symmetry may not see as much play in high-level competitive decks.
