Rite of Passage, Enchantment, designed by Kev Walker first released in Jun, 2004 in the set Fifth Dawn and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's a key card in 7 combos.
This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on creating a wide board of creatures that can benefit from the +1/+1 counters. Decks that have a lot of small creatures or creatures with abilities that trigger upon receiving counters would find Rite of Passage useful. While Rite of Passage can be effective in certain situations, there are stronger cards like Hardened Scales that provide similar effects more efficiently and consistently, making them better choices for competitive play.
