About Relic Golem

Relic Golem, Artifact creature — golem, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Sep, 2020 in the set Zendikar Rising.

This card, Relic Golem, could be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's strategy by filling their graveyard and limiting their options. However, its reliance on the opponent having a certain number of cards in their graveyard may make it less consistent. Other cards like Hedron Crab or Glimpse the Unthinkable might be more effective for mill strategies, but Relic Golem could still see play in specific graveyard-focused decks for its unique abilities and potential disruption.

Rules

09/25/20

An ability that offers a bonus if an opponent has eight or more cards in their graveyard won’t provide additional benefits if more than one opponent has eight or more cards in their graveyard. There are also no additional benefits no matter how many cards are in an opponent’s graveyard, as long as there are at least eight.

09/25/20

Once Relic Golem has attacked, causing its first ability to apply by removing cards from graveyards won’t cause Relic Golem to be removed from combat.
