Ravaging Riftwurm, Creature — wurm, designed by Michael Phillippi first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight.
A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and sustaining board presence would benefit from including Ravaging Riftwurm, as it provides a powerful creature that can stick around for a while with its Vanishing ability. However, there are better options available such as Primeval Titan or Terastodon which offer more immediate impact or utility upon entering the battlefield, making them more desirable choices in most scenarios. Ravaging Riftwurm could see situational play in decks looking for a resilient threat that can be hard to deal with over time, but it may not be a staple in competitive decks.
