A deck focused on disrupting artifact-based strategies, such as artifact ramp or artifact combo decks, would benefit from including Rack and Ruin. While Rack and Ruin is a solid choice for artifact removal, it may be overshadowed by more versatile options like Shattering Spree or Vandalblast, which can target multiple artifacts for a potentially lower cost. However, if the meta heavily features artifact-heavy decks, Rack and Ruin could still see play as a sideboard option for targeted removal.
