About Psychic Theft

Psychic Theft, Sorcery, designed by Don Hazeltine first released in Jun, 2000 in the set Prophecy.

Psychic Theft can be a valuable addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, allowing players to disrupt their opponent's strategy by stealing key instant or sorcery cards from their hand. While it can provide a temporary advantage, there are more efficient and versatile options available, such as Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek, which offer broader hand disruption capabilities. Psychic Theft may see situational play in specific metagames or strategies, but overall, there are stronger alternatives for hand disruption in competitive decks.
