About Path of Peace

Path of Peace, Sorcery, designed by Pete Venters first released in May, 1997 in the set Portal and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

A control or midrange deck that focuses on gaining life and controlling the board would benefit from using Path of Peace in Magic: the Gathering. While it provides a way to remove a threat and gain life, there are more efficient removal spells available, such as Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile, which exile the creature without giving the opponent life. Path of Peace could see play in a casual or budget deck, but competitive decks would likely opt for more powerful removal options.

Rules

03/16/18

You are a creature’s owner if the card representing it began the game in your deck, or if it’s a token that entered the battlefield under your control. If Path of Peace targets a creature that you own but an opponent controls, you’ll gain 4 life.
