A deck that focuses on control and disruption would benefit from using Nightveil Specter, as it provides card advantage and potential access to opponents' resources. However, there are better cards with similar effects, such as Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, which offers more consistent exile abilities and can generate threats. Nightveil Specter could see play in certain niche strategies, but may not be a top choice in competitive environments.
