About Night of Souls' Betrayal

Night of Souls' Betrayal, Legendary enchantment, designed by Greg Staples first released in May, 2020 in the set Champions of Kamigawa and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's a key card in 1 combos.

A deck that focuses on controlling the board by dealing with small creatures would benefit from Night of Souls' Betrayal, as it weakens opposing creatures significantly. Another better card for a similar effect might be Drown in Sorrow, which also deals damage to all creatures but can potentially be more versatile. Night of Souls' Betrayal could see play in certain sideboard situations where -1/-1 is particularly impactful, but its 3 cmc cast cost might restrict its mainboard playability in faster-paced metas.
