About Miscalculation

Miscalculation, Instant, designed by Jeff Laubenstein first released in Feb, 1999 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Brawl.

Miscalculation would be a valuable addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a cheap and efficient way to counter spells and disrupt opponents' plans. However, in a competitive setting, more versatile and powerful counterspells like Mana Leak or Force of Will may be preferred over Miscalculation due to their broader applications and higher impact on the game. Nonetheless, Miscalculation could still find a place in budget or casual decks where its cycling ability can provide additional card draw options.
