About Lord of the Void

Lord of the Void, Creature — demon, designed by Chris Rahn first released in Feb, 2013 in the set Gatecrash and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

A deck that focuses on controlling the battlefield and disrupting the opponent's strategy would benefit from including Lord of the Void, as it provides a powerful advantage by stealing creatures from the opponent's library. However, in competitive play, there are more efficient and versatile options available, such as Griselbrand or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, which can have a more immediate impact on the game. While Lord of the Void has potential in casual or themed decks, it may not see much play in highly competitive environments due to its high mana cost and slower effect compared to other options.

Rules

01/24/13

Lord of the Void’s ability isn’t optional. If there is a creature card among the seven cards you exiled, you must put one onto the battlefield under your control.
