About Impending Disaster

Impending Disaster, Enchantment, designed by Pete Venters first released in Feb, 1999 in the set Urza's Legacy and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card, Impending Disaster, would be most beneficial in a red aggressive deck that aims to quickly ramp up lands and disrupt the opponent's mana base. While it can be a powerful tool to cripple opponents with many lands, it may not be the most efficient choice as there are better land destruction cards like Armageddon or Ravages of War that have a more immediate impact. However, if used strategically in the right deck, Impending Disaster can still be a viable option for disrupting opponents' resources and securing a win.

Rules

06/15/10

If this card is not on the battlefield at the times its ability resolves, then you can’t sacrifice it. However, you still destroy all lands.

10/04/04

This ability does not trigger at all if there are not seven lands on the battlefield at the beginning of upkeep. It checks this number again when it is going to resolve and does not do anything if the land count is below 7.
