Icefall Regent, Creature — dragon, designed by David Gaillet first released in Mar, 2015 in the set Dragons of Tarkir Promos and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Icefall Regent would be a great addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides both a defensive and disruptive element against your opponent's creatures and spells. While there may be other cards with similar effects, Icefall Regent's ability to tap down a creature and increase the cost of spells targeting it makes it a strong choice for controlling the board. It should definitely see play in decks looking to stall the game and disrupt the opponent's strategy.

Icefall Regent’s triggered ability can target any creature controlled by an opponent, including one that is already tapped. In that case, the creature stays tapped and won’t untap during its controller’s untap step.

The ability stopping the creature from untapping will continue to apply to it even if the creature changes controllers.
