About Hunter's Edge

Hunter's Edge, Sorcery, designed by Johann Bodin first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021 and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

A deck focused on creatures with high power and the ability to deal damage efficiently would benefit from using Hunter's Edge, as it allows for a powerful targeted removal effect while also boosting the attacking creature. However, there are potentially better cards like Fight cards that may offer more flexibility in combat situations. Whether Hunter's Edge should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck it's included in.

Rules

06/23/20

If the creature you don’t control is an illegal target as Hunter’s Edge tries to resolve but the creature you control is a legal target, you just put a +1/+1 counter on the creature you control.

06/23/20

You can’t cast Hunter’s Edge unless you choose both a creature you control and a creature you don’t control as targets.
