About Holding Arms

Holding Arms, Fiend effect monster, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Legendary Duelists: Rage of Ra.

A control-oriented deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's plays and protecting its own monsters would benefit from using Holding Arms in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. While Holding Arms provides good utility by preventing attacks and negating effects of the opponent's monster, there are stronger alternatives like Number 101: Silent Honor ARK that can also remove the targeted monster from the field. However, Holding Arms could still see play in the right deck as a reliable way to protect key monsters from battle or card effects.
