About Halo Hunter

Halo Hunter, Creature — demon, designed by Chris Rahn first released in Oct, 2009 in the set Zendikar.

A deck focused on disrupting and controlling the opponent's Angel creatures, such as a black control deck, would benefit from including Halo Hunter. While Halo Hunter's ability to destroy target Angel upon entering the battlefield is powerful, there may be better options like Angel of Despair or Angel of Serenity that provide additional utility or value. Whether Halo Hunter sees play would depend on the specific strategy and meta of the game, but it could be a situational but effective inclusion in the right deck.

Rules

10/01/09

Halo Hunter’s triggered ability isn’t optional. When it enters the battlefield, if you’re the only player that controls an Angel, you’ll have to target an Angel you control.

10/01/09

Intimidate looks at the current colors of a creature that has it. Normally, Halo Hunter can’t be blocked except by artifact creatures and/or black creatures. If it’s turned white, then it can’t be blocked except by artifact creatures and/or white creatures.
